Common Questions
What should I bring to the range?
Eye and ear protection, your firearms (unloaded and cased) with every magazine you plan to use, practice ammo, an IFAK with a tourniquet, targets and a stapler, a multitool and Allen keys, lube, spare batteries for your optic and lights, water, and a hat, gloves, and sunscreen. Check your range's rules for anything else they require.
What goes in a range bag versus a go bag?
A range bag holds what you need to train safely for a day: protection, tools, targets, and practice ammo. A go bag or assault pack holds sustainment for when you are away from home. The two share a few things, like water, medical, and batteries, but serve different jobs.
